TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of booking fee, and at tariffs applicable according to season.
RESERVATIONS:
Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis. Unless specifically
requested, individual rooms may not be reserved; rather a room type (e.g a
double room) may be booked, but we reserve the right to alter others,
boisterous and rowdy behavior will not be tolerated and if necessary,
disruptive guests will be asked to leave.
SMOKING:
We are a strictly Non-Smoking establishment throughout. Should any guest be
found to be smoking within the building (including, hanging out of windows),
they will be charged a £100 cleaning fee and in appropriate circumstances,
reported to the police. The costs will be taken from the credit/debit card used
to secure the booking or pay for the stay
BOOKING FEE;
To secure and confirm a reservation, we will require a booking fee for the first night's stay per person at the time of booking. This payment should be made by credit or debit card. Unfortunately, we no longer accept
cheques or postal orders. Please note that due to banking
charges a 2% surcharge is applied to all credit card transactions . Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, the booking fee will be deducted from your final balance on arrival.
SETTLEMENT
OF ACCOUNTS: Balances of accounts should be settled upon arrival; and in exceptional
circumstances, no later than the day prior to departure. Please note that due
to banking charges a 2% surcharge is applied to all credit card transactions.
CHECK-IN
/ CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-in times is from 2p.m. Should
you be delayed on your journey and not be arriving at your intended time, we
would ask you to telephone and advise us accordingly. Rooms must be vacated by
10:00am on the day of departure. Failure to do so will result in a charge of an
extra night's stay.
CANCELLATION
POLICY: We require at least 7 clear days' notice for cancelation. Our cancellation policy is based on normal practice
within the UK, whereby proprietors of a hotel or guest house have the right in
law to claim or be reimbursed for any loss resulting from cancelation or no-show. This is only applied in the event that we are unable to re-let the
relevant accommodation in the time available. In such circumstances where the guest doesn't show, we make a
charge of the overall costs concerned, whether contracted for verbally or in
writing. The costs will be taken from the credit/debit card used to secure the
booking or pay for the stay.
If you are concerned about a cancellation you are
advised to take out travel insurance
PERSONAL
POSSESSIONS: The proprietors cannot be held liable for the loss of any guest's property
unless handed in for safe keeping.
DAMAGES/KEY
LOSS: Please take care of our accommodation. You are
responsible and liable for any breakages or damages that are caused while you
occupy the room including any accidents that may occur. If any damaged is
caused you are responsible up to the full cost of replacement or repair. The
costs will be taken from the credit/debit card used to secure the booking or
pay for the stay. This also applies to anything that goes missing from your
room during your stay. One key lost will incur a £20 charge for replacement.
FIRE
SAFETY EQUIPMENT: It is a criminal offence to tamper
with any fire safety equipment including smoke detectors and fire
extinguishers. Unauthorized use can lead to prosecution. Anyone found to be
doing so will be charged £100, reported to the police and asked to leave the
premises immediately.
